We, us or our means ‘A Touch of Tranquility’. We are a registered business in England, UK.
You or your means the person whom the booking relates to. 

  • All bookings are managed through an online booking platform, Timely. You can read their T&C’s and Privacy Policy here.

    Clients can choose treatment type, date and time, when available.

    New clients must make their first initial booking online, thereafter future bookings can be made in person or online.

    The following details are taken at the time of booking a treatment with us:
    - First and last name
    - Email address
    - Mobile number
    - Card details: in line with our cancellation policy detailed further below.

    Upon booking an appointment clients will be prompted to agree to our cancellation policy stating:
    - A non-refundable 20% deposit is required at booking. This will be deducted from your total treatment cost.

    - Deposits can be transferred if you reschedule with at least 72 hours’ notice. You may reschedule up to 3 times before the deposit is forfeited.

    - Cancellations with less than 72 hours’ notice: 50% of the treatment cost will be charged.

    - Same-day cancellations or no-shows: 100% of the treatment cost will be charged.

    By booking, you agree to these terms.

    When entering your card details during the booking process, clients will also be prompted to agree to the following statement:
    "I accept that my card will be saved to my account. By adding your card, you are authorising A Touch of Tranquility to debit your card for future charges including any no-show or cancellation fees.”

    Clients must fill out a pre-treatment consultation form prior to their first visit, which is sent virtually once a booking is made online. Clients are not required to fill out further forms, unless pregnant or should any circumstances change in their health or contact information that has previously been provided. 

  • The following cancellation terms shall apply: 

    If you cancel your appointment with at least 72 hours notice your booking will be cancelled with no further action required.  Please note you will not be refunded your initial 20% deposit paid upon booking.

    If you cancel with less than 72 hours notice before your scheduled appointment then A Touch of Tranquility reserves the right to charge you 50% of the total booking value. 

    If you cancel on the day of your scheduled appointment or do not arrive at all, A Touch of Tranquility reserves the right to charge you for the full treatment amount regardless of payment method (100% of the total booking value). 

    These cancellation procedures apply to cancellation for any reason, including reasons beyond your control and are in place to ensure that our therapist is paid for their time and to cover loss of income & business expenses. 

  • We advise you to arrive 10 minutes prior to your treatment. Arrivals later than 15 minutes from your scheduled appointment time will be treated as a no-show and full payment will be due. 

    If you arrive late to your appointment for any reason, your treatment time will be reduced in consideration of the next client. 

    All late arrivals will be charged the full value of the treatment regardless of payment method. 

  • 100% of cash and bank transfer tips go directly to your therapist. Any tips included within an online card transaction, a fee of 1.95% + 20p per transaction is taken from the Timely booking system. Please bare this in mind if you have the generous intention of leaving a tip.

  • We only offer prenatal treatments to those in their second or third trimester (12+ weeks). There is no time-frame for postnatal treatments. We recommend waiting until you/your body feels comfortable to lie face down and face up for a period of time.

    Those clients in their first trimester should not book a treatment during that time. If a treatment is booked for a client in their first trimester, the treatment will be cancelled. 

    A Touch of Tranquility must be informed of any pregnancies to the best of the clients knowledge at the time of booking. 

    A Touch of Tranquility asks that you complete your consultation form as early as possible. Any client who arrives to an appointment under circumstances that we can’t treat, will not receive the booked service and full payment will be required. Likewise, if information comes to light within the 72 hour cancellation period, A Touch of Tranquility reserves the right to enforce the 50% fee.

    A Touch of Tranquility will not be held liable for any consequences in connection with a client not disclosing pregnancy to us prior to the appointment.

  • All health conditions and any medication must be disclosed on a client’s pre-treatment form.  

    A Touch of Tranquility must be informed of any health conditions to the best of a client’s knowledge at the point of booking. 

    Regrettably, A Touch of Tranquility is not insured to treat cancer patients, nor do we hold the expertise in Oncology massage to ensure that clients receive a safe treatment under these circumstances.

    A Touch of Tranquility asks that you complete your consultation form as early as possible. Any client who arrives to an appointment under circumstances that we can’t treat, will not receive the booked service and full payment will be required. Likewise, if information comes to light within the 72 hour cancellation period, A Touch of Tranquility reserves the right to enforce the 50% fee.

  • A Touch of Tranquility must be informed prior to any appointment booked for a client under the age of 18 and written consent of a parent or guardian must be given at the time of booking. A minimum age of 16 is required to receive any treatment.

    A Touch of Tranquility reserves the right to cancel any appointment if we believe it is inappropriate for any reason for us to provide treatment, including the behaviour of a minor. 

  • We ask that clients do not use mobile phones during treatments. We encourage clients to use their time with us to relax as much as possible, mobile phones can create a distraction and we want you to receive the best experience.

    A Touch of Tranquility is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal items during client’s visit to the cabin. 

    A Touch of Tranquility reserves the right to refuse treatment to any client who is physically or verbally abusive towards any of our staff - including but not limited to any inappropriate, aggressive or sexual behaviour. 

    We reserve the right to refuse treatment to any client who is intoxicated or believed to be under the influence of non-medicated drugs. 

    A Touch of Tranquility reserve the right to refuse to perform treatments, at any point in accordance with their professional code of conduct and duty of care.

  • We are insured for the services and treatments we provide to our clients.

  • Gift vouchers are available to purchase online or in person. If you wish to have a physical gift card to give to your loved one, and have purchased a voucher online, please get in touch with us directly to arrange collection of your card copy.

    All vouchers are given a 6 month period in which a treatment(s) can be booked and the voucher can be redeemed against at the time of payment. Please note, even if you are planning to use a voucher for your treatment, you will still be required to enter your card details as usual when making a booking which runs in line with our cancellation policy. You can read this in detail above.

    A gift voucher cannot be used after the expiry date and any remaining balance will be removed and the code will become invalid and no longer available for use. We have no obligation to remind or inform you of a gift voucher’s expiry and it is your sole responsibility to ensure that any balance is used in full prior to expiry. Please also note we cannot control our diary for when you may be able to visit, so booking in advance and being prepared is strongly advised. 

    If a recipient is unable to attend before the expiry date for any reason, the voucher may be used by someone else on their behalf, however the original expiry date will still stand no matter the circumstances, we cannot be held responsible to send reminders of expiry to both the purchaser and/or recipient.

    We cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen vouchers.

    All gift vouchers are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash.

    Gift vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers/promotions.

  • - Minimum of 1 visit per 4 weeks for monthly members
    - Minimum of 1 visit per fortnight for bi-weekly members

    - Our bi-weekly membership requires booking 8 treatments in advance. For example, if your first appointment is in January 2025, you will commit to the next 8 sessions rolling on a 2-weekly schedule. At your January visit, we will book your 5th appointment, ensuring you always have 8 sessions booked ahead.

    - Our monthly membership requires booking 4 treatments in advance. For example, if your first appointment is in January 2025, you will commit to the next 4 sessions rolling on a 4-weekly schedule. At your January visit, we will book your 5th appointment, ensuring you always have 4 sessions booked ahead.

    - There are no fees or contracts. However if you wish to cancel your membership, you must honour your scheduled appointments.

    - You can only join the membership once a year. For example, if you join in January 2025 and cancel after 4 months, you can't rejoin until May 2026.

    - Your card on file will be charged automatically on the 1st of each month for all treatments involved within your membership. Any additional treatments booked alongside your minimum required sessions will be billed at the time of visiting, but you’ll still receive all your member perks. Please note that there may be an occasion that your monthly payment will be higher to cover more than one treatment that falls in that month due to how the weeks fall in the year.

    - Our standard cancellation policy applies to all bookings. Please review it here. If you cancel within the policy timeframe, you will not receive a refund for that month's pre-paid amount. If a 50% fee is charged, the remaining 50% will be credited to your account for the following month.

    - Unused credits can carry over for 30 days from payment. This gives you flexibility to move your appointment to another date that month should something result in you needing to reschedule. However, if you don’t rebook within that time, you won’t receive a refund.

    - A Touch of Tranquility reserves the right to terminate any membership with immediate effect should there be any reason to believe that the terms are not aligned or suitable with your schedule / commitment and any future appointments will be treated as non member visits. This situation would primarily occur if you were unable to keep up with your minimum requirements and were found to be moving & cancelling your sessions regularly. Whilst we aim to help where possible, the main motive of the membership is to prioritise your appointments and keep a routine in place, therefore if this is hindered then we’d have to decide whether the membership is something that’s right for your lifestyle.
